Road bikes (a.k.a Racers) are specifically designed for use on the tarmac. They are lightweight and have drop-down handlebars so you are in an aerodynamic position the best performance.


We sell many of these style bikes for people wanting to increase their fitness level.






Features of road bikes include:

  • Drop Handlebars for a more aerodynamic position
  • Wheel rims are double walled, making them stronger but still thin
  • Tyres are very slick and at very high pressure for low road resistance
  • Usually made with lightweight alloy, or even super-lightweight carbon components
