The Brompton is a folding bike which rides superbly, is safe, agile and fast, yet folds easily and quickly into a highly-compact and portable package.

Every Brompton bicycle is handbuilt in their British factory in West London, were it is subject to strict quality controls that make it built to last with everyday usage.

Almost every bike built to order. Using Brompton's own bespoke order form (available instore), customers are given the choice to decide how many gears their bike should have, choices of lighting, racks, mudguards, colours of the frame etc.

The Brompton Fold

The Brompton fold is a unique, patented design that allowed the bike to be folded away to take less space, without compromising the strength of the cycle.

Pricing

Each Brompton can be made to the customers own needs, meaning the price varies on which additions have been made, most Bromptons are in the price range of £700 - £1500. Different features such as gearing, lighting, frame materials, luggage bags, etc. all effect the price.

Test Rides

At Kingston Cycles we offer test rides for those thinking of buying a Brompton. No booking is needed, however we do not allow test rides if it is raining or wet outside, so it's probably best to check the forecast before you arrive!

Ordering a Brompton

Although we do keep a couple of key models on stock, most customers use the Brompton bespoke order form to choose exactly which features, colours and accessories they want their Brompton to have.

Brompton bikes are custom made in the UK to your required specification and from ordering, usually takes about 6-8 weeks to arrive in store. This time changes through-out the year due to demand.
